Greenlight Dunnellon Communications took another step forward Monday night as the City Council unanimously approved a lease agreement with Dascom Systems Group for slightly more than $1.4 million for headend equipment, as well as an additional $261,024.60 for additional headend equipment with AMT.
But the seven-figure deal with Dascom did raise the eyebrows of council members.
“We’re not writing a check for $1.4 million,” Mayor Fred Ward said.
