Mayor Fred Ward, quick to call for Roger Barth’s removal from the Planning Commission a month ago, reversed his stance Monday night at City Hall.
Ward said he does his best not to act on impulse; however, when he passed the gavel to call for a hearing to decide Barth’s fate, it was just that – an impulse.
“I think it was an impulse act,” Ward said after he made the motion to drop the hearing from the agenda. “It was not handled very judicially.”
