After public outcry about the city’s plans to cut its grace period from 45 days to 20, the Dunnellon City Council reached middle ground with those who opposed the original proposal.
On Monday, the Council passed its new utility billing ordinance, allowing customers to have until the end of the billing month to pay their utility bills before having services shutoff.
