Barth put on notice; public hearing slated March 28

By Jeff Bryan

The fate of Roger Barth’s tenure on the City Planning Board is unsure, after the City Council voted unanimously Monday night to notify Barth it is seeking to remove him from his post on the Planning Board.
Barth was recently appointed to the board, having been picked to a fill a two-year term. He had served the past two years in an alternate position.
However, his involvement with the Rainbow River Conservation’s lawsuit against the city, and recent information brought to the Council raised concerns from members, especially Mayor Fred Ward.
