It never seems to be easy for the Dunnellon High School football team.
That’s especially true for this week when the Tigers line up against perennial state power South Sumter. And though the Raiders have been down the past few seasons, they’re certainly making their traditional mark in the central Florida prep circles.
South Sumter (3-1) is fresh off a 46-0 pasting of Interlachen High School, its second shutout of the season. The Raiders’ lone loss was to Class 7A powerhouse East Ridge, 20-12. South Sumter has allowed a total of 36 points this season.
