Police: Vehicle burglaries reported

Several vehicle burglaries have been reported in different locations within the city of Dunnellon during the past weekend, the Dunnellon Police Department reported. All of the incidents were in open view and items taken were limited to purses, medications and money.
“We are asking that the public be sure and secure their vehicles and place all items of value and medications in the trunk or in a very secure and non-visible location,” Police Chief Joanne Black said.
