For the better part of two weeks now, the Dunnellon High School football team has had to deal with the fallout of its performance against Santa Fe in a key District 5A-5 tilt.
In the game, Oct. 7, the Tigers turned the ball over five times, including three in the fourth quarter of a 21-7 loss. The loss snapped Dunnellon’s 15-game district winning streak, putting the Tigers behind “the eight ball” in their bid to reach the playoffs.
