  • Margaret Lucille Ledford Pelletier, 86

    Margaret Lucille Ledford Pelletier, 86, died Feb. 29, 2012, after a brief illness. A native of Franklin, N.C., Mrs. Pelletier was the daughter of the late Oscar Ledford and Lexie Farmer Ledford and lived most of her life in Florida.
    Margaret Lucille loved life and was known for how she could say words that could make one laugh. Mrs. Pelletier was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses; she attended the Citrus Springs Congregation.
    In addition to her parents, brothers and sisters, Mrs. Pelletier is preceded in death by her husband, Rosaire Pelletier.

    Sue A. Seitz, 69, of Dunnellon, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012 at Legacy House, Ocala. Survivors include her husband, Walter; sons, Walter Seitz and Barney Wilkes both of Dunnellon. Services were at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 6, 2012 with Rev. Terry McKee presiding at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon.

    Ernestine Thomas, 81, died Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 in Lecanto. Survivors include two daughters, Janice Beeler and Valerie Williams both of Dunnellon; step-daughter, Tracey Gray of Alachua; two sons, George Thomas Jr. of Arlington, Va., and Rev. Herbert Thomas of Tallahasee. Services were 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012 at 1st Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Nathaniel Rawls Jr., and Rev. Michael Warren presided.     Linda A. Winn-Lyon, 63, of Dunnellon, lost her battle to cancer on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012 at the Legacy House surrounded by family and friends, knowing she was loved. Her compassion was seen through all those she loved, cared for, and helped — especially her beloved cats.
    Her recent hobbies included gardening, putting up newsworthy Christmas displays, elaborate renovations of the family home, traveling, and if not those, she was fishing.

    Thomas T. Coolidge, 98, of Dunnellon, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2011 at Legacy House of Ocala.
    Born in Hudson, Mass. on Jan. 1, 1913 residing in Massachusetts and Maine until he and his wife Ruth moved to Dunnellon in 1979. He was a dedicated member of Holy Faith Episcopal Church and affiliated with VFW 4864 of Citrus Springs.

    Lynn Bickers, 64, of Dunnellon, died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012.
    She was born July 25, 1947 in Chicago, Ill., and is the loving wife of Gayle Bickers; mother of Janet Murray and Dena Sade of Champaign, Ill.; grandmother of 6; also sister of Bruce Hollinger of Redington Shores.
    Her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, and caring for her family and friends.
