The greater Dunnellon area will be hopping with activity Saturday and Sunday, as three area churches plan a bevy of Easter activities for youths. All of the events are free.

Community Easter Egg Hunt

Rainbow Springs Village Church will host a community Easter Egg Hunt from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Ernie Mills Park, 11899 Bostick St. Besides the Easter Egg Hunt, there will also be Easter Egg dying, an Easter skit, a bounce slide and free hamburgers and hotdogs.

Church, Chamber partner for egg hunt

The Dunnellon Community Church and the Dunnellon Chamber & Business Association will host an Easter Egg Hunt from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the corner of State Road 40 and U.S. 41, the future home of the Dunnellon Community Church.

Eventgoers are asked to bring chairs to sit in or blankets for a picnic-style dinner.

There will be free food, entertainment and bounce houses.

Riverland Baptist egg hunt

Riverland Baptist Church will host an Easter Egg Hunt after its Easter worship service, which is at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

The egg hunt is arranged by age groups to make sure every child will receive eggs.
